A Snapshot without a Permit

We had an epic sunset going on this evening so I went to the Ihmezentrum to snap some shots from a little higher up. I have been here multiple times. This time, after taking exactly 2 shots, a private security guy came along and told me I need a permit to take photographs from the Ihmezentrum. I was really confused. Why would I need to take photographs of a city from a public place? He couldn't explain it to me nor tell me where I could read up on that. But after getting a warning for trespassing just half a year ago I decided to just leave and call the property management to get information. Turns out I can take photographs from the property without a permit. I just need one to photograph inside the complex. Guess the security guy confused the word "of" with "from", which is basically the same word in german in this case. As in, I can take photographs from this location but not of this location (something along these lines). Anyways, I got the email adress of the management head now and can contact him if I need a permit...

It's just a little sad because I missed the chance to photograph an absolutely epic sunset. The picture above is just one of the two snapshots I got (it's cropped). There was much more magic to be seen on the other side. Oh well, at least I know how to respond next time.

Edit: Added a bit of noise reduction to the sky because the level of grain annoyed me when I looked at the image for longer.
